MY INTRO
I have been
working as a freelance journalist in Ahmedabad Mirror (The Times of India
group) since last four-and-half years. My fascination for the exciting world of
Journalism made me give up a flourishing career in stock markets in July 2011,
which I had taken up after completing MBA from Mumbai. Besides, I have an
ability to explain difficult concepts in easy language and mould young minds. I
had completed my Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from Bhavan’s
Harilal Bhagwati Institute of Communication and Management in 2012, stood first
rank there and received a gold medal there. Thereafter, I did Master of Arts
degree course in Journalism from Guru Jambheshwar Institute of Science and
Technology (in Hisar, Haryna) in 2013 via distance education and secured
distinction with 76.5 percent marks. Currently, I am pursuing M Phil in Mass
Communication and Journalism from Gujarat University. I am in the process of
submitting the thesis and the course is due to get over very soon. The topic of
my thesis is ‘An Exploratory Study on Portrayal of Human Rights Issues by the English
Newspapers’. After completing M Phil, I plan to pursue PhD course.
